Grad Day

Grad Day is a parent-organized event designed to give graduating seniors a safe, fun-filled, all-day celebration the day following the Commencement Ceremony.

This year, after a great deal of consideration as a board and in consultation with faculty, staff and the student body, the Parent Club has decided to host a “GRAD DAY” on June 1 after graduation, with students arriving at school at 6 am to board chartered buses for a day at Six Flags Magic Mountain, returning that evening by 2 am.  We believe that this will be a safe, fun event that will be greatly attended by the senior class and they are very excited to go from what we hear!

Grad Day Contracts will be distributed by ASB to senior students in their English class on Monday 10/1.  We would like to have a higher number of ticket sales in October to make sure students get their tickets early.    To sell tickets, we will need volunteers between 11:30 am and 1 pm on 10/5, 10/8, 10/12, and 10/15 to work a sales table near the Senior Lawn.  We also have ASB students who will assist in answering questions but cannot take money due to school policy.    Other dates will follow in Nov and onward, but for now, we would like to gain some momentum.

If you can lend your time to assist us with ticket sales we would greatly appreciate it.  The signup link is below:

Additionally, we will have additional opportunities to volunteer as we get closer to the event.  Some of these roles will include:  Gift Bags, Contract Management, Senior Signs, light fundraising, Breakfast the Day of the Event, etc.

We will also need Chaperones!  Those who chaperone will be provided a free ticket to the event.  We have a limited number of spots available so if you know now that you would like to chaperone, please let us know as soon as possible.

Please note, Grad day is a 100% optional event run by parents. These parents in the San Pasqual community dedicate their time and effort to providing a safe, alcohol and drug-free day following graduation.
