Attendance Office Information:
24-Hour Attendance Office Hotline
Absences and Tardies: Please call the Attendance Office as soon as possible to inform the school of the absence or late arrival of your student. Phone lines are available 24 hours a day.
To clear an absence, please call the 24-Hour Attendance Office Hotline. Leave a message that includes your student’s name, DOB, grade, date of absence, and reason for absence. Please speak clearly and leave a contact phone number so that the attendance clerk may contact you during the day.
If you are calling during normal business hours and reach the voicemail, it is because we are on another line or helping a parent / student at the window. PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE. We check and retrieve our voicemail every few minutes throughout the day.
All absences not cleared by a parent / guardian phone call to the attendance office within 72 hours will be considered truant.
***Students can attend Saturday Scholars to clear absences, truancies, and tardies.
State law requires pupils to attend their assigned classes every day school is in session.
Early Release or Late Arrival:
Parent requests for early release or late arrival due to medical appointments and family emergencies are permitted.
Off Campus Pass: ALL students leaving campus during the course of the day MUST have an Off Campus Pass (OCP). An OCP can be acquired if a parent calls or faxes the Attendance Office. If a student leaves campus without an OCP, they will be marked truant.
The Attendance Office does not issue OCP's for students to leave at lunch or during the last 15 minutes of the school day.
***Please arrange for your student to pick up their OCP from any of the attendance office windows before school, during nutrition break, or lunch.
The Attendance Office requires a minimum of 1-hour notice when requesting an Off Campus Pass.
