FREE AP TESTING FOR EUHSD STUDENTS
Please see below for 2023-24 AP Exam Information. Exams are free, but students must complete all steps by October 30th, 2023, to have an order placed. This includes signing up in MyAP, completing the contract, completing the benefit wavier, and selecting yes in MyAP.

2023-24 AP TESTING INFORMATION

***Must Bring: current government-issued or school-issued photo ID.***

Food and Drinks

  • ●  All snacks must be in a clear plastic bag.

  • ●  Only drink permitted is a CLEAR plastic water bottle. (NO hydro flasks!)

  • ●  Students will only be permitted to eat snacks during the break time.

    What Students Can Bring

  • ●  Several sharpened No. 2 pencils with eraser for multiple choice answer sheet.

  • ●  Pens with black or dark blue ink only, for areas on the exam booklet covers & for free-response questions

  • ●  A watch – but it CANNOT have internet access, it CANNOT beep or have an alarm. No Fitbits or smart watches.

  • ●  Up to two calculators with the necessary capabilities if taking an AP Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, or Statistics exam.

    Students should check with their AP teacher if they have questions about which calculator is allowed.

  • ●  For AP Physics only: You may bring a ruler or straightedge; protractors are not allowed

    What Students can NOT Bring

  • ●  NO electronic equipment: cell phones, smartphones, smartwatches or other wearable technology (ex. Fitbit), etc.

  • ●  NO laptops, tablets, computers, portable listening or recording devices, cameras or other photographic equipment, etc.

  • ●  NO devices that can access the internet, or any other electronic or communication devices.

  • ●  NO No ear plugs/headphones.

  • ●  NO books, compasses, protractors, mechanical pencils, No. 3 pencils, correction fluid (white out), dictionaries, highlighters,

    notes, or colored pencils.

  • ●  NO scratch paper

  • ●  NO watches that beep or have an alarm

  • ●  NO reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions

  • ●  NO clothing with subject-related information

  • ●  NO clipboards

CAASPP Testing
Each year, students participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). The following computer-based tests will be given in person this year:
  • Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment for English Language Arts and Math, required tests in grade 11 are March 5-8 and April 9-12
  • California Science Test (CAST), a required test in grade 10 is March 19-20.
Please make sure students are well-rested and attend school on these dates.
