Hello Golden Eagle! A short-term Independent study contract is intended for absences greater than 3 days and up to 15 consecutive days. A completed contract will change absent days to contract days when all paperwork is completed. Please follow the guidelines below!
Step 1:
Fill out the google form to request a Short-Term Independent Study Contract. This starts the process for you.

Step 2:
Our attendance clerk will include you in an email requesting assigned work from teachers.
You can utilize the email from our site to contact teachers with questions or request further support. Finish as much work as possible during your absence but most teachers will allow a period of time once you return, to complete the work.
Step 3:
When you return to campus, please stop by the attendance office sometime during your first day back to pick up your contract packet. In your packet you will find:

As soon as you have turned in your contract and all six of your teachers have turned in a work verification form, with your corresponding sample schoolwork, your absent days will be changed to contract days in our system for attendance.
